Best Image Policy
By proceeding with my appointment at Bloom Ultrasound, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the following Best Imaging Policy:

1. Pre-Appointment Preparation
To help ensure the best possible ultrasound experience, clients are encouraged to eat a light snack approximately 30 minutes before their appointment. Natural changes in blood sugar may help increase fetal activity, which can improve image clarity and allow for more dynamic viewing during your session. While not required, this simple step can significantly enhance the ability to capture keepsake images and video clips.

2. Dress Code for Optimal Comfort and Access
For ease and efficiency during your appointment, we ask that you arrive in loose-fitting clothing, such as a stretchy dress or a shirt paired with flexible pants or leggings. This makes it easier to access the abdominal area for ultrasound imaging without the need for you to fully undress. Comfortable attire also helps reduce pressure on your belly and supports a more relaxed experience.

3. Image Clarity and Complimentary Rescans
At Bloom, we strive to provide clear and memorable images. However, there are times when factors beyond our control—such as baby’s position or limited fetal movement—may make it difficult to obtain optimal images during your session. In such cases, we offer one complimentary rescan, provided the session is not a 2D/2D Live appointment or a discounted package.
-
Rescans are available Monday through Thursday only and must be scheduled within two weeks of your original appointment date.
-
If you arrive more than 5 minutes late or fail to attend your rescan appointment, the rescan offer will be forfeited and cannot be rescheduled.
-
Please understand that the complimentary rescan is a courtesy extended at our discretion and based on availability.

4. Limitations Based on Pregnancy Stage or Placenta Location
We want every client to leave with beautiful keepsake images. However, certain conditions may limit visibility:
-
After 34 weeks of pregnancy, the baby may be more crowded in the womb, reducing our ability to capture full facial images or movement.
-
Clients with an anterior placenta (where the placenta lies at the front of the uterus) may experience reduced image clarity, as the placenta can partially block the ultrasound waves from reaching the baby.

While our trained technicians will do everything possible to obtain quality images, we cannot guarantee specific results. Image quality depends on many factors including baby’s position, fluid levels, fetal activity, and maternal body composition.
